We have stayed here before and think it’s a lovely little pub. Our room was situated away from the pub over the road. Very nice room, comfortable mattress and good quality bedding. Nice facilities, a small kitchen area and great bathroom with small bath and separate shower. Nice hot shower. We would definitely book again as although it’s not too far from where we live it was a quiet village and a nice little mini getaway for us.

It the place was amazing, so cozy. We checked in at the bar just before 3pm and everything was ready. The lady escorted us to the room that was across from the hotel, which was unexpected but totally delightful!! It was amazing inside and out. Outstandingly clean, eye for detail, great contemporary decor. We had a blast

Staff were excellent and very helpful - sympathetic to my hot room situation (below). Food was good and we ate there twice. Pizzas were lovely but too large for more modest appetites, but finished off at lunch next day (at work).

The entrance is grand. The staff we dealt with were wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious and the en suite roomy. The breakfast was included and there was a large range of buffet style food including bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs etc, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, juices and more. I loved that there were so many quiet seating areas around the hotel that you could escape to with a book. When we did have an issue the staff were exceedingly helpful and quick to respond. I didn’t get to see the gym but it was recommended by another guest. The hotel is set back from the Main Street (it’s very quiet inside) and there was plenty of parking out front to pull into, while we checked in. The below ground car park was spacious and very secure … so not only was I confident that the car was safe but that it was also out of the heat of the sun. On top of all that we found it was a great location to visit all of London … either by taking the train from Cricklewood station, which is a short walk away, or by hopping on a bus just outside the hotel which was even more appealing on our return home, as after a long sight seeing day, it was wonderful to find ourselves just outside the hotel as we stepped off the bus … it was a simple journey to visit The Tate gallery to Madame Tussaud’s and Regents Park.

Friendly helpful staff, fresh decor, very clean, lovely large comfy bed. Room was on top floor so no noise from bar below. Excellent food.

Fabulous staff, very friendly. Kate in particular went out of her way to help us with safely parking our classic cars. The food was good if a little pricey-£17 just for a Sunday roast (it was delicious though, loads of fresh veg) Great location for Donington Circuit

The building itself is a beautiful traditional decorated very tastefully inside and out, all the facilities we required were present. We were greeted by extremely friendly staff that went above and beyond for us. The room itself was beyond what we could have expected, beautifully presented and cleaned to a very high standard - we pretended we were on 4 in a bed and a solid 10 out of 10. Dinner was amazing, drinks were great, location was beautiful and again each member of staff we meet just seemed to be as friendly or more than the previous one, this place was exceptional and we will definitely be returning!!

The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and found there to be a good choice and really good quality.
